Good news! Elevate will be involved in another significant National Growth Fund project. The Dutch Government is investing 124.5 million euros in a new Center for Animal-Free Biomedical Translation. The aim of the center is to promote safer, more effective, and better medical treatments while reducing animal suffering. Our task is to develop educational outputs for this groundbreaking project.
The Center for Animal-Free Biomedical Translation (CPBT) is an initiative of Utrecht University, the UMC Utrecht, Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).
The Center for Animal-Free Biomedical Translation (CPBT) will accelerate the transition to animal-free biomedical innovations with the contribution from the National Growth Fund (NGF). This will result in economic and societal gains: better medicines and fewer animal experiments.
In collaboration with all the partners, Elevate will develop educational materials for the newly established Center for Animal-Free Biomedical Translation. Over the next decade, we will design a wide array of educational materials, encompassing e.g. e-learning modules that center around non-animal models.
