Associate Professor Cardiovascular Epidemiology
During her PhD, dr. C.H. Ilonca Vaartjes studied the potential of the use of nationwide registers for cardiovascular disease (CVD) research on incidence and prognosis of CVD in terms of morbidity and mortality. She is currently collaborating with researchers in various disciplines and conducting studies that will result in publications in the domains of Cardiovascular, Neurology, Environmental Health, and Public Health. She works at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care and at the University Medical Center Utrecht.
