Course description

In recent years, a lot of effort has gone into developing a national online course in neonatology as a replacement for course-based education in this area. The intended benefits of such e-learning include:

Timing of education can be better aligned with the actual neonatology internship
Mutual discussion, interaction and exchange between AIOS possible
Collaboration assignments between AIOS possible
More efficient (education is not given by several neonatologists in several places at the same time)
More uniformity in education
Make better use of the specific expertise of the NICU centers

Introductie – 1. Prematuriteit – 2. Respiratie – 3. Hemodynamiek – 4. Asfyxie – 5. Foetale groeistoornissen – 6. De gele baby – 7. Perinatale infectie – 8. Toets, evaluatie en afsluiting.

Learning objectives

At the end of this course:

Gained knowledge of common problems by newborns
Have you gained knowledge associated with the EPA care for the newborn up to and including High Care level
Have you worked together to learn from and with each other
Did you get to know colleagues from the country
Did you get an impression of the differences and similarities in policy between NICUs in NL
