Over the past months, we have worked hard on improving the eBROK® learning platform and we are proud to share this. Changes were made in order to keep the modules up to date, improve functionality, keep up with regulation and become more inclusive by adding the option to take eBROK® in the English language. A highlight of each aspect follows.
In one of the in-depth modules, ‘Research with medicinal products’, we added an extra section on future legislation for the European Clinical Trial Regulation (ECTR) in cooperation with the Dutch Clinical Research Foundation (DCRF). Alongside an obligatory base section there are three additional in-depth sections available for those who are interested in learning more. Moreover, successful completion of all sections will award the participant with a ECTR-expert badge.
A couple of steps were taken to improve the functionality and to keep the eBROK® learning platform user-friendly. Additionally, participants not linked to a University Medical Center (UMC) that have already earned their certificate can now opt for continuous registration to keep their certification up to date.
As the policy dictates, participants linked to a UMC should attend their Center Specific Meeting (CSB) only at their own institution. Participants that are not linked to one can select any institution to take their CSB with approval of the corresponding BROK-coordinator.
And last but not least, a fully functional version of eBROK® in English is available. Participants can easily switch to their preferred language in the learning environment without altering their progress of the course.
