Dr. G.M.J. (Geert) Ramakers, PhD, is Teaching Fellow at Utrecht University and Coordinator master program Neuroscience and Cognition.

I started my PhD in Utrecht in 1990 and after my graduation in 1995 I worked as a postdoc in Utrecht and Oslo (Norway). Just before the millennium change I returned to Utrecht as Principal Investigator in the department of Translational Neuroscience, Brain Center Rudolf Magnus, UMC Utrecht and I still work there.

At the moment I teach in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, and Veterinary Sciences at both bachelor and master level. I am coordinator of the master program Neuroscience and Cognition, I am chair of the Educational Committee of the bachelor Biomedical Sciences and I am a teaching fellow of Utrecht University.
