Elevate at the World Design Forum / 16 Oct. 2012

Elevate's Joyce Browne presented and promoted us at the World Design Forum (WDF) 2012. The World Design Forum is an annual conference in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. With business leaders and politicians it sets the agenda to the power of design and design thinking in shaping regional and global agendas. In response to three themes: co-creation, learning and ignition, social entrepreneurs described the ‘micro revolutions in daily life’ they are passionate about. General finding: the top-down model of doing things is no longer satisfactory as people have come to expect to have a say in matters which concern them directly. Will this be the end of the pyramid as the dominant organisational structure, and the rise of the network organisation? Joyce explained in her presentation the ideas behind Elevate and the importance for Elevate of being a network organisation in order to be able to reach it's goals: to improve health worldwide.
