My name is Toshihiko Takada, 36 years old, General physician and work as an assistant professor at Department of General Medicine, Shirakawa Satellite for Teaching And Research (STAR), Fukushima Medical University, Japan. My focus is diagnostic reasoning and clinical research.

How did you experience the course?

I followed the course “Advanced Diagnostic Research ”. As my speciality in diagnostic reasoning, I am really interested in diagnostic studies. Unfortunately, I cannot learn about it systematically especially in Japan. So, the course was really useful for me. You can interact with not only your colleagues but also experts of diagnostic studies in the course!

Benefits in daily work

I learned a lot about NRI, DCA, CPR etc. I apply the learning achievements to my own research project. Furthermore, you can learn how to conduct statistical analysis with R. It was also excellent point of the course.

Advantage of distance learning

I have participated some other distance learning courses. The advantage of distance learning is that we can interact each other across the border! It was really exciting experience discussing with my colleagues overseas.
