Introduction

I am Farida Njelba Abdulai, 33 years old and I am a Medical Doctor.

E-learning

This is my third experience with elearning and I find it very convenient as I could log on at my leisure and would not have missed anything. I especially enjoyed the elevate program because it was interactive. My other experiences were not. I would recommend elearning to anyone who wants to study especially workers who can not leave their jobs to pursue further studies as it is very convenient. I realised that logging in once a day ensured that I did not miss the opportunity to contribute to discussions I found interesting as for me the interactive nature was its best feature.

HIV Policy, Politics, Governance and Planning Mechanisms Course

I liked the elearning part of the POL HIV course because it gave all participants the opportunity to share their views on various issues. This may not always happen in class due to time constraints and some participants may be reserved in a class. Also it allowed me to see how my colleagues thought assignments should be approached and the course coordinator was available on the platform to answer questions. For these reasons I would recommend the course. The elearning part of the course helped me to improve my critical reading skills and in giving constructive feedback. These skill will help me in writing my thesis as I review my literature and in my future career in public health in a management position.
