Bechara Mfarrej

from Milan , Italy

Bechara Mfarrej enrolled in a Translational Medicine Certificate Program course in 2014

I gained insight into advantages and disadvantages of being part of the bridge between bench and bedside.

Introduction

My name is Bechara Mfarrej, age 35, Early Stage Researcher / PhD student, part of EUTRAIN network. I am taking part in both a preclinical project and a clinical trial: learning how the bridge between the two is built was my motivation for getting some background knowledge before participating in the EUREKA course.

What did you enjoy most about the course?

The ability to comment on other people’s comments: the interaction with virtual people of a different background. I have never participated in a distant learning course, yet I think it helped set a common denominator for my colleagues and myself who participated in the EUREKA course. I have used it for my benefit as much as I could.

Would you recommend the course to others?

Absolutely yes: it is an essential crash course and interactive means to learn more in less time. I have recommended the suggested publications to colleagues at work. I gained insight into advantages and disadvantages of being part of the bridge between bench and bedside.
