FAQ:
  1. Why would I choose an online Elevate course?

    Elevate's guided online health courses offer you more choices to customize your medical education based on your strengths, needs and interests. However, course content and the average study workload will be similar to an identical face-to-face course. You will have 24/7 access to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which makes it convenient to study simultaneously with a busy career and social life.

  2. How do I apply and how does the enrollment procedure work?

    Please click on the blue 'enroll' button on the specific course page. You will be directed to our online enrollment system. After successful application, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment. After we've received your payment, the e-moderator will give you access to the Virtual Learning Environment before the course starts.

Validation

Having received your application to enrol, Elevate will check if you meet the course entrance requirements. You will receive an email confirming your place.

  1. How does the online application procedure work?

    Once you have enrolled in the course, you will receive an email confirming your application. If your application has been successful and if you paid the course fee, the e-moderator will give you access to the Virtual Learning Environment before the course starts.

  2. I have applied for a course, when will I receive more information?

    After enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email. The partner institute will review your application to see if you meet the entry requirements. The e-moderator will usually give you access to the Virtual Learning Environment a couple of days before the course will start.

Studying

You will use our online learning environment in your studies. This portal gives you the chance to interact with your peers and access inspirational lectures and other high quality materials.

FAQ:
  1. Will I be able to interact with other participants in the online course?

    Yes, Elevate encourages interactive learning. We offer online medical courses with interaction, guidance and support. Throughout the course, you will be guided by our e-moderator you will receive feedback from the lecturer and your peer students. In some courses, you'll also work on group assignments and/or wikis. You can find more information about the educational model of Elevate on the ''About Elevate'' page.

Examination

At the end of the course there will be a final exam, which can be completed in your home country, at the establishment of one of our educational partners.

FAQ:
  1. Will there be a final exam for all courses?

    Most of our online health courses schedule a final exam, such as a written exam, a final paper or a specific assignment. Please visit the specific course page and the drop down menu ''examination'' for more information or contact us at info@elevatehealth.eu. The exams are not compulsory. However, if you want to receive the Academic Certificate and the EC (European Credits), you'll need to take the exam. You are allowed to redo the exam once.

  2. Do I have to travel to Utrecht to sit my exams?

    You do not have to come to Utrecht to take the final exam. If you are willing and able to take the exam in Utrecht, the Netherlands, we are available to proctor the exam for you without any costs. If you have to take the exam from a different location, you need a proctor. This proctor may ask you to pay for their expenses. Certificate

You will receive an internationally recognised certificate or diploma, from one of our leading educational partners, after succesfully finishing the course.

FAQ:
  1. Will I receive an official certificate after successfully finishing the course?

    You will either receive a Certificate of Completion or an Academic Certificate containing EC (European Credits, or ECTS) from one of the educational partners of Elevate. The type of Certificate awarded varies per course. Please have a look at the specific course page under ''quick overview''.

  2. How many credits will I receive for a course?

    This depends on the course you will be participating in. The credits awarded for the specific courses are listed on the course page and the course overview page.

Payment

If you need extra financial support to participate in an Elevate course, you can find more information on the ‍‍‍‍‍‍funding‍‍‍‍‍‍ section of this website.

FAQ:
  1. How can I pay the course fee?

    In the online enrollment system we offer 2 payment options: you can pay by Visa or MasterCard, or if you live in the Netherlands, by Ideal and by your employer via invoice. After successful enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email including the invoice. If you choose to pay via invoice, we will always send the invoice to you. Please forward the invoice to your employer. Please pay as soon as possible before the course starts.

  2. I have transferred the money, but the status of my application is still 'not paid', what should I do?

    International wire transfers may take up to two or three weeks to process internally. After this period, please contact us at info@elevatehealth.eu to enquire about the status of your payment. Please include a proof of the payment so that we can track your payment.
